Inwood Coffeehouse starts its seventh performance season with the fabulous Jay Cooley Trio featuring jazz great Lennie Cujé on the vibraphone and the Mighty Busso on bass.

Lennie Cujé was part of the New York Jazz scene throughout the 1960’s. He performed and recorded with artists such as Larry Coryell, Dave Amram, Hank Mobley, and “Philly” Joe Jones. Lennie returned to the Washington, D.C. area in the seventies and played all the local Jazz venues including a ten year run at the famous “One Step Down” as the weekly Sunday night feature.
